As 2021 draws to a close, we wanted to take a look back at the year to see all that Wandering Moms accomplished. While we had all hoped 2021 would bring more freedom to travel safely, this unfortunately wasn’t exactly the case. But 2021 certainly wasn’t a total loss! Our Wandering Moms community continued to grow by leaps and bounds, we hosted a fantastic virtual travel conference, successfully hosted two Wandering Moms trips, and many in our community managed to continue traveling across the country and around the world safely. So let’s take a look at our Wandering Moms year in review!
February 2021- Coupling in Colorado Trip
Wandering Moms celebrated Valentine’s Day in style with a couples trip to Breckenridge, Colorado! We spent four days in a gorgeous mountain villa and packed our days with winter activities like snowmobiling and bonfires, as well as cooking classes, wine and whiskey tastings, and axe throwing! It was a romantic week where some of our Wandering Moms got to reconnect with their loved ones while also making new travel friends from around the country!

May 2021- Mother’s Day Care Packages
Mother’s Day 2021 was a bit disappointing for our Wandering Moms team. It’s usually our biggest holiday and we go all out with an amazing Mother’s Day trip as well as several weekend meet ups across the country where our community members can get away for a special spa day and brunch on Mother’s Day. With the month of May enveloped in Covid wave, we weren’t able to host any of these special events- but we didn’t let the occasion pass without some celebration! Wandering Moms sent over 50 Mother’s Day care packages to single moms in our community- because every mom should be celebrated on Mother’s Day!!!

July 2021- Travel University Virtual Conference
On July 17th we hosted over 150 moms for our Travel University Virtual Conference. This conference was all about teaching our community how to travel more for less! We had a lineup of truly amazing speakers who ran sessions on scoring amazing travel deals, using credit card points to snag free travel, travel planning for large families, full time RV travel in the US, and overcoming travel anxiety. We also hosted a live workshop where our Wandering Moms co-founders Tanai and Libryia walked our guests through the process of filling out passport applications. If you missed this amazing conference, don’t panic! You can still purchase ALL of the video replays in our Wandering Moms Store for just $10!!! Download the entire conference to watch at your own leisure so that you are ready to hit the ground running in 2022!
September 2021- Yacht Momma Trip
At the end of September we were able to take a group of Wandering Moms on the mom-cation of a lifetime! We all met up in the British Virgin Islands where we set sail for three days on yachts, then spent a few days at the beautiful Scrub Island Resort, just off the coast of Tortola. This was a moms- only trip, a chance for our hard working moms to get away from the grind of daily life and focus on pampering themselves. With lazy days spent cruising the Caribbean, going out on snorkeling and hiking adventures, plus a spa day and a beautiful brunch- we certainly accomplished our goals of rest, relaxation, adventure and pampering! Wandering Moms is looking to host this trip again in 2022 so if you’re interested in joining us, please stay tuned to our Wandering Moms Trip Page where we’ll be updating our 2022 trips soon!
