When your child flies without an adult, they fly as an Unaccompanied Minor (UNMR). There are additional fees and some additional rigor associated with your child’s unaccompanied minor flight.

The fees and requirements differ by airline, we have a list below that details the fees, age limits, and requirements by airline. Note this list is not exhaustive and airline requirements may change so we suggest confirming with the airline. This list is meant to make you aware of the requirements and allow you to compare airlines to make a choice that suits your needs.

You can also read through the Step By Step process for minors flying alone and our resource on some things to consider when choosing to allow your child to fly alone.
